Deconstructing Pet Rescue: "Pets are a Lifetime Commitment"

Contrary to rescue propaganda, you are not your pet's slave, permanently indebted to them for the horrible crime of taking them in. Such a concept is totally backwards and antithetical to the purpose of getting a pet. Pet ownership should be mutually pleasant for both of you. Neurotic pets, or those with extreme medical needs, should not be allowed to dictate their owners' lives. Having a pet  should never hold you back from normal hobbies or career opportunities. It's also cruel to keep pets where they're miserable. I'm not saying to rehome pets on a whim, only that people and pets are not equal. A pet is not a human child. The whole point of domestication is to create companion animals. Pets exist for their owners. People exist for society.

Three Types of Menaces in Society

Conservatives (narcissists) have a moral compass built on low empathy and high respect for boundaries. Racism, sexism, and all forms of prejudice were invented by conservatives. Liberals (borderlines) have a moral compass built on high empathy and low respect for boundaries. Promiscuity and illegal immigration, which threaten cultural cohesion, are the fault of liberals. Both conservatives and liberals are gullible. They enable sociopaths through authoritarianism and passivity, respectively. Sociopaths have no moral compass. Lacking both empathy and respect for boundaries, they operate on pure, selfish impulse. Sociopaths often disguise themselves as conservatives or liberals and use both ideologies to gain control. Normal, sane, conscientious people face a constant threat from the other groups—and, more often than not, end up footing the bill for their shenanigans.
